Flowers for Special Occasions
Okay, so everyone knows flowers go a long way as a present, a lot better than a Bunnings voucher, unless it is going to a man of course, then everything here is a load of tripe. Go the Bunnings or BCF voucher.
We have assumed of course you have a clue who you’re sending them too, but may be unsure of the right thing to send. Don’t stress our helpful guide will solve all your dilemmas.
Mind you we prefer it if you find the best description on the flowers, go with what tickles your fancy, and even if they don’t like them at least you had a laugh!
Anniversary
When giving flowers to your partner on your Wedding Anniversary, the personality of your partner, and what's in season should play a large part in your choice of flower.
You know what will happen if you get too clever. Just go with the favourite and be boring but safe. Unless you have already engaged the lawyer then send thorns!
If you are a friend or family member and want to give flowers to celebrate, the list below can help in your choice, but once again is governed by what's in season.

Birthday
You can't go too wrong with anything bright and colourful for birthdays. If you can, try and send them their favourite flower. If you don't know, you could send them the flower of their birth month. If you don’t know their birth month then you have no right to be their friend, send them chocolates instead that will at least give them something to eat while they wonder why they got a birthday gift at the wrong time of the year.

Christmas
Flowers at Christmas should typify the season – lots of green and red. Christmas flowers to send include the Christmas Cactus, Holly or the Poinsettia with its green leaves and bright red flowers. Ideally Mistletoe should be hand delivered and the recipient should have to kiss you under it. This is almost law, so if you need kissing try this method. It will either work out really well or you will get locked up. Then you might get a gift of a different sort.

Get Well
A friend or loved one feeling sick? Then send them a bright floral arrangement to cheer them up. Flowers in red, white, pink or yellow will hit the spot and help in the recovery of your friend. Well they won't really help, but you won't feel so bad for staying away and continuing to have a ball while they are laid up and helpless.

Father's Day Flowers
Oh please. Your father doesn't want flowers on father's day. If he is that old and senile to not know what you are sending him then put an empty beer bottle next to him that has a chill about it. He will pick it up think he has drunk it all and put it back down again. He will be mighty thankful. A lot more thankful than if you send him flowers. What were you thinking?

Mother's Day Flowers
What better way to say "I love you mum", than with a bunch of flowers? Carnations, Roses and Lily of the Valley are perfect flowers to send your mum on Mother's Day. Or a new BMW, which we cannot help you with. Mums love flowers, especially if the card doesn't say "Happy Mother's Day mum, you are such a good mum I am moving home".
