Afterwards, when all the dust has settled, receiving flowers is a necessity. Like the dad buggering off to have a cigar with his mates, these things are just expected.
So make sure you send something lovely, and with a nice soft toy to top it off this arrangement won't get left behind on the shelf at the hospital just like all the others.
Seriously it will stand out SOOO much it will be the only one they take home with them.
Babies go with flowers like Bananas and Pajamas. It's a wonder newborns don't turn up with flowers in their hands!
