We like sending things for no reason.
The suspense kills the recipient, they have no idea why they got the flowers.
It's even better if you don't send a message.
The time they spend trying to work it out, figure out who it's from is fantastic, albeit unproductive.
Also the embarrassment and intrigue as they wrongly guess who it might be from and try to subtly elicit an answer is priceless.
It has been known to lead to separation and divorce, although we take no responsibility for such results.
Occasionally it has been known to lead to spontaneous sex however don't take our word on that one!
